This beautiful bowl was hand-turned from responsibly sourced mesquite wood in the Tucson area. I used turquoise powder as an inlay material to accent the rim.
This bowl was meticulously crafted and will last for generations as a functional piece of art.
Mesquite is renowned for its density and stability, and it withstands repeated use as a food serving bowl.

Maintenance and care: This bowl was finished with food-safe walnut oil and wax. Clean with soap and water, and dry after each use. When the wood begins to look dry, simply apply mineral oil, walnut oil, or any food-grade oil of your choice. If the bowl begins to feel rough, a quick sanding with 400 grit sandpaper will smooth it out. This bowl was handmade and likes to be hand-washed. Please do NOT put it in the dishwasher, microwave, or freezer.
