Walnut Acorn Boxes

I love how these acorn boxes came out. They are a lot of fun to make and are perfect little for little keepsakes or small jewelry. I don't have an opportunity to work with walnut often - this wood is absolutely gorgeous. I filled the small cracks with copper powder which complements the walnut well.
Finished with walnut oil (it only makes sense) for a low sheen that showcases the natural beauty of the wood and is easily reapplied if necessary.
