Walnut Hollow Form - Turned and Carved

This hollow form was turned from a piece of walnut that was sent to me by a good friend in upstate New York. I turned it on the lathe, then hand-carved the petals into the top of the vessel. It would make a great conversation piece and could be displayed on a bookshelf, end table, mantle...or anywhere else you see fit.
