This bowl was turned from a piece of Ash crotch (the part of the tree where two branches converge). The grain in this part of the tree is under a lot of stress which produces interesting and beautiful figure. The wood came from Santa Cruz county, about 40 minutes south of Tucson.

Maintenance and care: This bowl was finished with General Finishes Salad Bowl Finish and is completely food-safe. The finish is waterproof, durable, and maintenance-free. Clean with soap and water, and dry after each use. This bowl was handmade and likes to be hand-washed. Please do NOT put it in the dishwasher, microwave, or freezer.
