Handmade Mesquite Bowl with Turquoise Inlay Rim

This beautiful bowl was crafted with care from responsibly sourced mesquite wood right here in the Tucson area. To enhance its elegance, I chose turquoise powder as an inlay material for the rim.

Mesquite is well-known for its density and stability, making it highly durable for repeated use. This meticulously crafted bowl is not only a functional piece of art but also designed to last for generations.

Maintenance and care: The bowl has been finished with food-safe walnut oil. It can be easily cleaned with mild soap and water, and it should be dried after each use. To maintain its appearance, simply apply mineral oil, walnut oil, or any food-grade oil of your choice when the wood begins to look dry. If the bowl feels rough, a quick sanding with 600 grit sandpaper will smooth it out. This handmade bowl prefers to be hand-washed and should not be put in the dishwasher, microwave, or freezer.
