Mesquite Hollow Form / Urn with Malachite Inlay

This beautiful vessel was hand-turned from responsibly sourced mesquite wood in Tucson, AZ. Malachite powder was used to highlight and fill a few small cracks in the wood. The mouth of the vessel features a bronze accent and an ebonized finial with hand-chased threads. The threads allow the finial to screw into the vessel securely.
This hollow form would make a great conversation piece. It could be displayed on a bookshelf, end table, mantle...or anywhere else you see fit. It's also suitable to be used as an ash urn.
