Walnut Hollow Form with Turquoise Inlay

This hollow form was turned from a piece of walnut that was sent to me by a good friend in upstate New York. I turned this piece of wood while it was still wet, and used turquoise to fill a small crack that appeared during the drying process. The top of the vessel has been textured for visual interest. It would make a great conversation piece and could be displayed on a bookshelf, end table, mantle...or anywhere else you see fit.
