This hollow form was hand-turned from local responsibly sourced mesquite and was treated with a high-quality metallic copper finish that contains real metal particles. The lid was turned from a piece of ebonized hard maple. The maple has some history behind it - it was once a baseball bat that was used by the Colorado Rockies.
This hollow form would make a great conversation piece. It could be displayed on a bookshelf, end table, mantle...or anywhere else you see fit. It's also suitable to be used as an ash urn.
